Rubic’s Cube Project Idea

Ingredients:

How to Create:
Print out two pictures that measure 3-11/16”x 3-11/16”. (close-ups are recommended)

Cut out four squares that measure 3-11/16”x 3-11/16” from different patterned papers.

Add stickers to the squares as shown.

Start cutting out individual squares for cube to create a mosaic.

Starting from the left side, cut a strip that measures 13/16”x 3-11/16”.
From the far right side cut another strip that measures 13/16”x 3-11/16”.
Cut 1/16” from each side of the remaining middle strip. So that the strip measures 13/16”x 3-11/16”.
Lay three strips on top of cube.

Starting with the top of left side, cut a square that measures 13/16”x 13/16”
From the bottom left side cut another square that measures 13/16”x 13/16”.
You will have the middle of strip remaining.

Cut 1/16” from the top and bottom of the remaining middle strip. So that the strip measures 13/16”x 13/16”.

Follow the above steps for the middle and right strip to create the other 6 squares for the cube.

Adhere to cube to create a mosaic picture.

Follow the above steps for the other three 3-11/16”x 3-11/16” squares and two pictures for the other five sides of cube.
