My School Days Mini Album

Don’t throw away that extra sheet of light chipboard material you receive in packaging! Cut it up and put it to good use as the base for a mini album.

Ingredients:
Primary High School Power Palette Kit (you will need to replace Primary High School PP kit by Cheerful School 12×12 addition)
Swirly White ABC/123 Stickers
Round-Tip Pen – Red
Fine-Tip Pen – Black
Sandpaper
Scissors
Hole Punch
Ring Binders
Ribbons

How to Create:
Cut chipboard material into pieces that measure 4″ square. Cover each chipboard piece on front and backside with patterned paper. Lightly sand edges of each paper piece, then doodle along edges of each page.

For each inside page, Renee journaled grade name on to white cardstock paper, then trimmed around with scissors. She then matted this trimmed piece on to black cardstock, then trimmed black cardstock, leaving thin border around white cardstock piece. These layers were adhered to pages in album. Additional stickers were added throughout to embellish.

To decorate cover, cut piece of blue patterned paper to measure 4″ square. Cut strip of red paper to measure 3/4″ x 4″. Lightly sand edges of each piece. Doodle along edges of blue piece and add faux stitching along long edges of red piece.

Adhere red strip along left edge of chipboard piece. Adhere title stickers and letter stickers. Change color of letter stickers by coloring fingertip with round-tip marker, then smudging on to sticker. Smudge finger across other places on photo to distress additionally.

Using hole punch, punch two holes along left edge of cover. Line holes up and punch holes in remaining pages one page at a time. Bind pages together using ring binders. Add ribbon to finish.

Finished Size:
4″ square
