Summer vacation destination Granby Zoo!!

This year summer vacation destination is the Granby Zoo, the kids can’t wait to go see the monkeys… and even my 36 y.o. big kid can’t wait… what I can’t wait for is finishing my Summer vacation destination Granby Zoo album… so I decided to keep pre-designing my pages… Hopefully you will all see my finish product sometime next week.

Made using Storybook Creator 4.0, Cheerful 12×12 predesigned page print,  Cheerful Zoo digital Addition, Jungle and Gigi Font:

From a 8×8 or 12×12 blank album page, in home tab click on Change a project page template, select Cheerful 12×12 predesigned pages print and choose page 1 and click on change template; this will change your blank page for the template you choose.

Unlock background (on your left side by clicking on the golden lock) and change background for Cheerful Zoo digital Add., Cheerful Zoo P1;

Know select 2nd shape(always form the bottom) and Fill shape with Cheerful Zoo P2 but then you need to change the color a little to do so, keep shape select form Color tab click on Color wash and I choose orange color;

3rd shape ;

4th and 5th you leave as is;

6th shape I choose cheerful Zoo P3 and filled shape

Delete all presigned embelleshment;

Add embellishment form cheerful Zoo digital add (leaves) x 2 and (ADayAtTheZoo) and add one of the animal of your chose as shown, you can also search the web to kind a different animal (as I did) and use Wand, in cut option on cut and fill tab, to remove extra white background around any web clipart.

Then I added the date of our up coming visit to the Zoo by using Insert tab, text section and click on shape;

I also decided to add a black mat for each photo frame; select all frame, then from Format Photo tab, click on Select Mat and got true options I decided to use a black shade for my mats and using 1 as Width;

than I added in the biggest frame, a jpeg version of the Zoo map; and later I will add photo from our visit and I will add journaling. Updated version of my finish page will be add sometime next week

Monkey see, Monkey do!! Zoo page

As I posted before we are going to Granby Zoo, July 7th, this is another page form my pre-design Zoo Album, our kids can wait to see the monkeys… so I decided to use my imagination and make a digital big monkey… using a tradition pattern I have for journaling.

Made using Storybook Creator 4.0, Cheerful Zoo digital Addition, Catchup font and banana clip-art for google search.

From a 8×8 or 12×12 blank album page, select Cheerful Zoo digital Addition pkg and choose Cheerful Zoo P2 and make background;

To make Border simply insert a shape (square) re-size to make a long rectangle and using Cut and fill tab fill shape with green color and copy and past re-size as show and from Cheerful Zoo digital Add, select Cheerful zoo P1 and fill selected shape; add embellishment from Cheerful Zoo digital add. 2 (Leaf) rotate as needed and (Monkey) and from a google search (banana clipart) add embellishment as shown.

Building the monkey use shape as shown below:

Using the Storybook Creator 4.0 insert tab and content options and add shapes as shown: and add a text box in the middle of his belly;

Know form insert tab add Empty frame and from Format option tab, frame section, click on select mat add; fill mat with paper and choose  Cheerful Zoo P3;

Add Embellishment (ADayAtTheZoo) and (MonkeySeeMonkeyDo).

Add photo and journaling as you wish!!

Preparing my Zoo Album

One of are summer vacation destination this year is Granby Zoo, so I decided to pre-design my own digital album for that special outing, this is my first page and well I will had a family photo of use at the Zoo.

Made using: Storybook Creator 4.0, Cheerful digital Power Pallet and Cheerful Zoo digital Addition.

1. Start with either an 8×8 or 12×12 blank album, select the 1st page and set cheerfulpaper31 from Cheerful digital PowerPallet;
2. then add to page cheerfulpaper28 (lock aspect ratio, by right clicking on you mouse and selecting aspect ratio) and re-size;
3. then add to page cheerfulpaper27 (lock aspect ratio, by right clicking on you mouse and selecting aspect ratio) and re-size;
4. then add to page cheerful zoo p3 from Cheerful Zoo digital Addition (lock aspect ratio, by right clicking on you mouse and selecting aspect ratio) and re-size;
5. then add to page cheerful zoo p1 from Cheerful Zoo digital Addition (lock aspect ratio, by right clicking on you mouse and selecting aspect ratio) and re-size;
6. Then from Cheerful Zoo digital Addition from Embellishment section add Cheerful Zoo PM4 (click on Format and surface and select concrete to give that ruff look) and re-size;
7. From Insert tab add Empty frame right click on frame and select Aspect ration chose landscape 5×7 and lock aspect ratio and re-size as shown;
8.  keep Empty Frame selected and go to Format Photo tab and click on Select mat for add black mat around frame;
9. know you only have to add embellishments I added (4 x Burst4 for each corner), (leaf2 to line up with the leaf on Cheerful Zoo P1), (ADayAtTheZoo), (Girafe), (Flamingo), (Peacock), (MonkeyOnBranch) and re-size as shown (remember you can change the embellishment like you want 😉
10. and know add you picture… mine will be added after July 7 🙂

1. Insert page from Decorative click and fill page 12×12 pages21.
2. From Content tab on the right side of your screen, in Cheerful Summer digital addition, select Cheerful Summer page4, Make background
3. Select pre-design Shapes from Element tab on the left side of your screen;
   1^st shape (background wave) leave as;
   2^nd shape (wave) from Content tap on the right of your screen, Paper tab, Cheerful Summer Digital Add, select Cheerful Summer Paper1, and select fill selected shape;
   3^rd shape (rectangle) from Content tap on the right of your screen, Paper tab, Cheerful Summer Digital Add., select Cheerful Summer Paper3, and select fill selected shape;
   4^th and 5^th shape (background photo rectangle) from Content tap on the right of your screen, Paper tab, Cheerful Summer Digital add, select Cheerful Summer Paper2, and select fill selected shape;

4. Add photos and journaling as desired.
5. Add Embellishment from Content tab on the right side of your screen; click on Embellishment; Cheerful Summer digital Add. 2 (Red Flower) and (SplishSplash) rotated 90 degrees
6. Select all photos, in Format Photos tab, on the top of your screen, click on Mat, click on Change Mat fill, Select a Color, and choose shade of red.

   5^th shape (background photo rectangle) from Content tap on the right of your screen, Paper tab, Cheerful Digital PP, select Cheerful Paper05, and select fill selected shape;
   6^th and 8^th shape (3 triple circle) go to cut and fill tab on the top of your screen; click on Color and choose a shade of orange;

Baby Girl Album Summer 2010 (11 mths) 8,5×11 Album

How to Create:

1. Create a blank 8,5 x 11.
2. Select paper from Cheerful Summer Add embellishment and resize to full page.
3. Under the Cut & Fill, select more and Cut Up Into a Grid.  Select 12 squares.  Select all 12 squares and center on page.  Under the Format tab, add a heavy shadow to all squares.   Under the Cut and Fill tab, change squares to desired papers and colors.
4. To change the background layer, unlock the layer by clicking the small lock to the left of the layer.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, change the color to yellow by sampling the yellow in one of your papers  Cheerful Digital PP page17
   Add the Beachball, FlipFlop1(add RedFlower), FlipFlop2(add RedFlower),  Sun, IheartSummer, Summer  or other embellishments.  Under the Format tab, add a heavy shadow to all your embellishments.
5. Add four 2.5” square photos.  Arrange as desired.  Select all four photos and change the mat width to 1 in the Format Photos tab.
6. Add journaling as desired.

Ingredients (Canada):

How to Create:

1. Create a blank 12×12 template.   Add Cheerful Summer P3 to fill the page.  Under the Cut & Fill, select more and Cut Up Into a Grid.  Select 16 squares.  Select all 16 squares and center on page.  Under the Format tab, add a heavy shadow to all squares.   Under the Cut and Fill tab, change squares to desired papers and colors.
2. To change the background layer, unlock the layer by clicking the small lock to the left of the layer.  Under the Cut & Fill tab, change the color to yellow by sampling the yellow in one of your papers.
   Add the Beachball, FlipFlop1(add RedFlower), FlipFlop2(add RedFlower),  Sun, IheartSummer, Summer (change color to white) embellishments.  Under the Format tab, add a heavy shadow to all your embellishments.
3. Add four 2.5” square photos.  Arrange as desired.  Select all four photos and change the mat width to 1 in the Format Photos tab.
4. Add journaling as desired.
